Smartcookie Posted December 6, 2010 #1 Share Posted December 6, 2010 Are there any connecting veranda cabins? If not, can the partition between the veranda be removed? Also, if booking a guarantee how far ahead would we be notified of our cabin numbers prior to sailing? Thanks!

There are also partitions between balconies that can be opepned - even if they are not connecting cabins. If you look at the deck plans, connecting cabins are indicated with a '+' sign between the cabins. On the Eurodam we had 4 cabins in a row and had the balcony partinions between them opened. The middle 2 cabins were also connecting cabins. I have no infomation on booking guarantees and getting connecting cabins.
Boytjie Posted December 6, 2010 #3 Share Posted December 6, 2010 Connecting doors between 4043 and 4045 on the Eurodam: Balcony partition open between 4041 and 4043 on the Eurodam: Note: this shows the partition between a steel railing and plexi glass railing - the opening between two balconies with plexi glasss does not have that piece of inclined steel there. Mary Ellen Posted December 6, 2010 #4 Share Posted December 6, 2010 Also, if booking a guarantee how far ahead would we be notified of our cabin numbers prior to sailing? It is possible that you won't find out until check-in at the pier. Usually though posters report learning about 10 days to a week prior to boarding. With guarantee cabins there is NO assurance that they will be even near each other, let alone adjacent.
