pimentel7 Posted December 6, 2010 #1 Share Posted December 6, 2010 We have a very large group sailing on the Spirit in June. I wanted to buy NCL Gift Certificates for Christmas gifts but am told they don't offer them. Does anyone have any experience with this?
Unknotted Posted December 6, 2010 #2 Share Posted December 6, 2010 You can buy onboard credits, but I am not sure if you get actual "certificates" or not. Try the Bon Voyage dept at this link http://www2.ncl.com/freestyle-cruise/bon-voyage-gifts
garycarla Posted December 6, 2010 #3 Share Posted December 6, 2010 Yes, you can buy the OBC that will be applied to their account. Then make up your own certificates. Or even make one up that says you will be paying the daily service charge, or something like $50 towards their bar bill. You can do the OBC now, or just put a credit on their account after you board. silkhair1 Posted December 7, 2010 #4 Share Posted December 7, 2010 I got on board credits for my family and printed out my own "gift certificate" and gave that to them. The real paper telling them was in their cabin when they got on the ship confirming this. I got one too from my parents and I loved it for extra drinks without guilt!!!!!
