Deck 13?

Recommended Posts

We've got a room on the 12th deck aft starboard side and I was looking at deck plans to see what might be directly above. The plans I saw didn't show a deck 13, which I thought might be based on the old superstition.

But I notice that other RCI ships do show a deck 13 on them. Why the difference on Allure?

The Celebrity Solstice didnt have a 13 either.

My guess is that on the Oasis and the Allure deck 14 (what should be 13) has rooms, while on the other ships with a 13, it is usually just a sports deck. The probably did it because some people would be superstitious about sleeping on deck 13.

Makes perfect sense now that you mentioned it. Thanks.
