Jewel Dec. 5/6 Garden Villa ... still sorting it all out

We are back from last week's shortened cruise on the Jewel. We're tired and drained but have to at least chime in a little bit tonight.

 

A big hello to our Cruise Critic friends that now have a face to go with their screen names. It was a real pleasure to meet you all in person!

 

To Adrian, Erlindo, and Hopeton: another thank you for being the best bunch of guys ever and you are a credit to NCL.

 

There were a few highs this week, the food being one. We felt it was possibly the best food we've had on all of our NCL cruises. There were lows, some that could not be avoided and others that we know should have been avoided. We raised several concerns specific to our Garden Villa to NCL. For now, we are in a "sorting it all out" frame of mind, waiting to see how they address these concerns.

Interested in what concerns you had in the Garden Villa, as we almost booked it 1 week prior to your cruise, but schedules would not allow all of my family to join us.

We had a GV on the Star last May and had several issues with our cabin, security being on the top of the list, as we found a passenger in our indoor hallway:eek:
