FLL hotels

Which would you recomend and why? for our post cruise stay and is it close to the cruise port and airport?

 

Westin Diplomat Resort and Spa _looks amazing

 

Lago Mar Resort and Club

 

Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Hollywood

 

 

 

 

 

Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty-Six (there is suppose to be major renos in May when I am there)

 

 

 

Pre cruise we are at Sheraton Yankee Clipper Beach Resort

I live in the area and of the first 3 Lago Mar is the closest to both the cruise terminal and FLL, but the other 2 aren't all THAT far. Lago Mar and the Westin Diplomat are oceanfront, the Seminole Hard Rock is inland and a bit of Las Vegas in FL (no table games though). The Hyatt Pier 66 is actually the closest to the port and airport, but is an older property and isn't in the same league as the others.

 

I'll give you their websites that have more pics on them than Travelocity may. The links you provided aren't working, but I wouldn't have any problem with any of the first 3 and I'm extremely picky about where I stay.

Great thanks for youe help. I am picky as well. I just wanted a VERY nice after the cruise since its the last day of our honeymoon, before heading back into reality.

 

Lago Mar's rooms look a little old, are they?

Lago Mar is an older property but is very highly rated. I haven't been in there in some time though. The Seminole Hard Rock is about a year old, the Westin Diplomat is about 3 years old.

I just thought of another very nice "special" hotel you may like as well. It's new, it opened late last summer, and is extremely nice. It's on Ft. Lauderdale beach, closer to the port and airport than the Hard Rock or Diplomat.
