willowbilly Posted December 15, 2010 #1 Share Posted December 15, 2010 There are three women ages 60-80. Is it safe to walk to water taxis? Is there a place to get times for water taxis? Cost of water taxis?
2112 Posted December 16, 2010 #2 Share Posted December 16, 2010 I would consider it perfectly safe to walk to the water taxis, but don't be surprised if someone tries to sell you something on the way (no need to freak out). There are 2 companies (actually with a single ownership). The cost is US$10 per person each way (note that on the Caye Caulker website the price is given in BZ$, which is 2:1 to the US$). The schedule can be found on their websites: http://sanpedrowatertaxi.com/ http://www.cayecaulkerwatertaxi.com/
