just booked a pack and go for the dec 31st paradise new years cruise

at the time we booked, the only time for dinner available was 6pm

so we are wait listed for 8:15

do you think its likely that once we board and talk with the maitre d , they can switch us? any experience with this? or are we out of luck

6pm is way to early for us.. thanks in advance

I wasn`t able to switch from late to early (DH is diabetic, has to eat early) on our Thanksgiving cruise on the Elation. Maitre D told us just to show up as if we had our time dining.

It become a chore to get seated each night so we ended up just eating on Lido.

However that is not to say that you will not be able to do it, so just give it a go.. Might work for you.;)

I think you will be ok also...we do late seating and on our cruise last week they talked us into anytime dining. When we got to the ship our cards said early which we never do. All I said to the Maitre D was we were sched incorrectly and he made the change. I think early is the preferred so moving out is easier than moving into it. dont sweat it

If by chance you are Platinum, just flash your card. That did it for me.:D

Yup - Platinum gets guaranteed dining time of choice. If you have a health issue like diabetes that requires you to eat at a certain time notify special needs. They can get you switched to the seating of your choice.
