Water Taxi to Grand Anse Beach

It's a short ride...about 10 minutes or so and then about a 3-5 minute walk to the terminal. The water taxis fit about 20 people, and the operators try to fill the boat before leaving. There really isn't a schedule that I am aware off. We were in Grenada last month and found the water taxi very easy and convenient.

Caribbean Sunsets is spot on. They do try to get every last person on board that they can so you may be sitting there a while if you are first on board. My tip keep an eye on the boats and when they start to fill up that's when to go and get on board. Most have sun covers but be aware if sitting for a while you may not feel the sun if there is a breeze blowing.

Have fun:cool:

How do you get on and off these water taxis? Steps...or a ladder...or step off? I have nerve damage in my foot so footing isn't real stable without a railing...

S&S - You might want to start a new thread in the Grenada forum to ask your question. I notice the last posting in this thread was in December. (I saw your question while searching for information about Grand Anse Beach.)

The water taxi we took was a step off onto the dock. So, step down into the water taxi and step up to the dock to get out.

Our guys waiting a realllly long time for more people to come, finally gave up and took off with 4 of us on board, then spotted someone walking towards the dock and went back to pick them up! So make sure you budget lots of extra time.
