Tulum or Cozumel

Recommended Posts

My husband and I are undecided if we should do the excursion to Tulum or just stay in Cozumel. We will be cruising on the RCCL Navigator April 30.

We do not care to shop much and prefer to do more outdoor activities. If anyone has any suggestions we would appreciate hearing from you. Thanks.

If you like antiquities...then Tulum...but it will be along hot tired day, with a lot of traveling...and you will be tired when you get back to the ship....or you can spend the day in cozumel...much to do there....enjoy Paradise beach...or chankannb....swim with the dolphins! I vote for Cozumel. Save Tulum...for a next visit...after you have enjoyed Cozumel. :)

Your travel time alone to/fro Tulum from Cozumel will approach, or perhaps exceed, 5 hours. There are plenty of nice beaches where you can just loll at Cozumel, especially farther south, away from the tourists (as much as possible). Try Palancar or Nachi Cocom.
