Snorkel at Cemetary Beach

Does anyone have info for snorkelling at Cemetary Beach on Grand Cayman. Taxi fare and beach info would be appreciated as well

Wife and I love this little beach. No amenities. We rented scooters and rented equipment from a beach near by.

How far is it from where you tender? Is there anyplace nearby to get snacks? any shade? thanks.

thanks --- we are docking the day of mardi gras == will that be a problem with traffic? (that's why we decided to pass on Rum Point which we love_

I could be incorrect but, I think Mardis Gras is mostly "celebrated" at Kaibo, so the SMB & George Town areas should not have unusual volumes of traffic (Rum Point proper too). Grand Cayman's version of Carnival is Pirate's Week which occurs in November.

 

We are usually off-island then, so do not take that as gospel.
