How to see St Thomas?

We will be in St Thomas in about 3 weeks with 6 ships in port that day. Air Force One is full and not taking reservations. Sunny Liston looks a little loud for my elderly mother. We are interested in some sightseeing to St Peter Great House Gardens and some beach time at maybe Secret Harbor. We want a beach that would be safe for my mom to sit at while we snorkel. Has anyone used a taxi do this kind of day or is there another tour group that we should look into?

You could take a taxi to one of the many beaches and you could snorkel while your mom enjoys herself - we always use Godfrey Tours, if you are interested in an actual tour......they are very accommodating and great!

Our favorite beach is Sapphire, mainly because it is less crowded, has some shade and a bar/restaurant :)

IMHO, Sunny Liston is the best! We have used him twice and we have taken my in laws, which are in their 70's. We all had a blast. He is not too loud, he just gets everyone in a great, island mood and gets us singing!

Sunny will take you to Sapphire, which I also agree is a great, safe beach. It was never too crowded, had facilities and a bar with some great drinks!
