Family Dive Excursion in Belize

Hi All!

I will be in Belize on the Carnival Legend in a few weeks, and really wanted to dive there. But my situation is rather strict:mad:.

I am traveling with DW, DD (7), and DD (4). We are looking for a dive tour where they can do a beach day at the same time, and in some form of safety (since dad is gonna be in the water).

I did find the Barrier Reef 2 tank dive tour in Belize with Coral Breeze Tours ( http://www.coralbreezetours.com/Belize/scuba/diving/barrier/reef/current_category.15/Product.146/tours_add.html?t_product=146 ), and was wondering if anyone else has done this.

I'd like to make sure that the dive is relatively decent (operator, and experience) and that the family has enough to do on the beach part of the tour. It looks to me that they will monitor the port time for the ship, and get us back in time. Also, the Mrs and I are VIP, so we can hopefully pull the priority tender card and get out early enough.

Has anyone had experience with these folks, and more specifically with this tour? Or should I just do Altun-Ha again???

Joe
