Fort Lauderdale Beach hotel

I have 2 rooms booked pre-cruise for 2 nights in June at Sheraton Yankee Clipper because we wanted to be right on the beach. I am now getting worried aftrer reading some of the comments on this board. Can anyone suggest another hotel on the beach?

Those are all actually ON the beach, most other "beachfront" hotels in Fort Lauderdale are actually across the street from the beach.
