ann1bell Posted January 8, 2011 #1 Share Posted January 8, 2011 I think that the Spirit is on the same time as local Cozumel time. Is that right? I called NCL and they said it was. I am trying to plan a private tour on Jan. 28th, 2011. Thanks.
sdmike Posted January 8, 2011 #2 Share Posted January 8, 2011 The Epic used local time in the western caribbean, so I would think the other NCL ships would as well. Just be careful, some countries use daylight savings time and others don't. As such, Roatan and Cozumel were an hour different even though most time zone maps will show them in the same one. CruisingLPN Posted January 8, 2011 #3 Share Posted January 8, 2011 When I cruised out of NOLA 2 summers ago the time was the same in Cozumel. Made things easy for me as a first time cruiser. No worry about missing the ship. Hope that helps.:)
susanrfc Posted January 8, 2011 #4 Share Posted January 8, 2011 Yes we were on the Spirit last year and we were on what ever time the island we were in port for was on. We left the day the time changed for daylight savings time, and with all the time changes I think we changed the clock three or four time on the cruise. zounds Posted January 8, 2011 #5 Share Posted January 8, 2011 The answer is yes. All ports are same as ship time (as of Dec'10). Wish I could join you. steve
