boobooka Posted January 8, 2011 #1 Share Posted January 8, 2011 We are currently booked in a BA aft cabin on deck 10 sailing 5/19/11 on the Jewel. We are considering upgrading to a Mini-Suite to have a little more room but are concerned about the early morning noises we might hear from The Great Outdoors buffet directly above. Has anyone sailed in these Mini-Suites and had any type of problems? We have sailed on the Dawn before in a Mini-Suite and had problems with noise with deck chairs being moved around in the early morning hours, so I don't want to "up-grade" to have the same problem. hunterJay Posted January 8, 2011 #2 Share Posted January 8, 2011 We sailed on the Gem in an aft minisuite under the Great Outdoors in 2009. Yes, at least one morning I was woken up by chairs being dragged on the deck above. It was not a pleasant awakening - but it wasn't a cruise ruiner either.
