snorkelgrl88 Posted January 10, 2011 #1 Share Posted January 10, 2011 Usually we do excursions with 3rd party companies b/c they have been better deals. However, the one excursion we want to do on our upcoming cruise is actually cheaper to take the excursion with Carnival. I was going through the steps to prebook the excursion (before it sells out), and I came upon the check out spot. Since I'm new to booking a Carnival excursion, I was originally thinking that we don't get charged until on the ship when it'll show up on our S&S bill. I noticed when trying to reserve my spot, that they want credit card info right up front. Is this my only option, or is there a way I can get it billed to S&S? It isn't a big deal either way, just curious and wanted to explore all my options. Thanks for your help!

If you book them on the ship they will be billed to your inboard account.
mrpayroll Posted January 10, 2011 #3 Share Posted January 10, 2011 When you book excursions beforehand, Carnival charges your credit card immediately. No other way around it.

thesawch Posted January 10, 2011 #5 Share Posted January 10, 2011 the only bad thing about waiting to book onboard is that it could be sold out.I just booked the tour to Belizes Myan Ruins.I was thinking it would be charged to my SS card but they charged my credit card. Its OK however i just wanted to make sure we got to see the ruins.
