bomberchamp Posted January 12, 2011 #1 Share Posted January 12, 2011 We will be whale watching in the morning in puerto Vallarta and are looking for a family friendly beach to spend a few hours at. We have 8 of us from age 2 to 75. Looking for mild surf and shade and a restaurant.
BusyYellowBug Posted January 12, 2011 #2 Share Posted January 12, 2011 I posted this exact request yesterday and still don't have any responses. I hope we can both find something!
alisonalison Posted February 11, 2011 #3 Share Posted February 11, 2011 I spent two weeks in old PV last year and was on Playa Muertos everyday. South end of PV and it was fine. Not sure how far the port is from oLD pv. If you prefer more western convienances I see people are recommending Dreams resort which I may try this time. I don't really need adventure. ENJOY! Ine Posted February 11, 2011 #4 Share Posted February 11, 2011 In general waves in the afternoon are higher then in the morning. Close to the terminal you will find Hotel Krystal, populair among many cruisers. They have a nice pool, the beach isnot that great. Free entrance if you show your cruise-card, but you need to spend some money on drinks and/or food. Bring your towels. To go to Playa Los Muertes you need to take a bus or cab. The best beaches are in Nuevo Vallarta, too far out for you for just a short stay.
