I am looking for a 4-5 star hotel within walking distance from the pier in Miami.

Does anyone have any suggestions? We will be going out in July for our honeymoon!

Holiday Inn close but not within walking distance. When looking at other discussions on this point, the Holiday Inn gets a good write up.

we are going in July on the NOS and did priceline. We bid 50.00 for a 4 star and got the Intercontinental. I understand it is walking distance from the pier.

If you're talking walking distance to the pier with your bags...it's not. You will need to take a taxi. Intercontinental does have a great view of the pier, and it is walking distance to Bayside Marketplace. I would still take a cab from Bayside at night back the hotel...we had a very scary experience of a group of men following us.

yes, we will definately take a cab to the pier. I guess it is about 5 minutes or so?
