BreakWindu Posted January 12, 2011 #1 Share Posted January 12, 2011 I am leaving on a cruise out of Baltimore on 1/23/11. This is the same day that the NFC & AFC Championship Games are on (3 & 6:30pm). The cruise leaves at 5pm and I'm wondering (yes I find it relaxing to watch football) where I would be able to watch the games? Will it be smoke-free? Can I see them in my cabin? --Russ
Cathy p Posted January 12, 2011 #2 Share Posted January 12, 2011 I am almost sure it will be on, however, you may not get it in your cabin. As for smoke being an ex smoker the only place I have ever notice it was in the casino. We are going out of Miami on the 15th and will being watching hopefully as well. Go Seahawks!! Girlincube Posted January 12, 2011 #3 Share Posted January 12, 2011 I am going on the same cruise- I know for sure there is a sports bar and casino that will be showing them. but since these are all shown on national stage- I think we should be able to see them in our room. The sports bar and casino both have smoking. See you soon and GO RAVENS!!
rollmeaway27 Posted January 12, 2011 #4 Share Posted January 12, 2011 When we were on the Valor last year( we left on the 24th of Jan. I believe)they had the games on the big screen by the pool. It was one of the coolest things that we did on the cruise, watching with about 500 other people.

There is no bigscreen outdoors on the Pride- they do however have bigscreens set up in other gathering areas
Angelica1104 Posted January 12, 2011 #6 Share Posted January 12, 2011 My husband and I cruise around this time every year. You will be able to watch from your room and the sports bar. Also the big screen had the AFC championship game on two years ago but it wasn't Embarkation day. We are cruising on the Valor that same day and do you know which time the AFC plays? I'm a Steelers Fan!LOL!
yst347 Posted January 12, 2011 #7 Share Posted January 12, 2011 Unfortunately the Pride and her sisterships Spirit, Legend and Miracle do not have the poolside big screen TV's. As others have mentioned the game will be on in-cabin as well as the sport's bar. I would suggest you find a nice spot in the sport's bar and settle in. It is located on deck 2 forward next to the casino and the cafe. If things become too smokey you can always retreat to your cabin, hopefully you won't be smoked-out. BreakWindu Posted January 13, 2011 Author #8 Share Posted January 13, 2011 Great! It sounds as if I'll be all set (most likely my room). Now if there are any teams left that I care about (Chiefs fan) I'll have to work it around dinner and the Camp Carnival introduction. --Russ
