icecream on the spirit

just read the thread about availability of icecream on the Dawn, and thought I'd ask the same questions about the Spirit - is icecream only available at the icecream bar by the pool, only at certain times of day? - or is there a self serve machine in the 24 hour restaurant?

We just got off the Spirit on yesterday. You can get ice cream at the Raffles Cafe, from lunch time on to around 9pm. They scoop it for you into a dish, [4 flavors] chocolate and vanilla and 2 of the flavors change daily, you can also get toppings [sprinkles, fudge, ect.] You can also order it in all the restaurants. I'm sure you also can order it from room service. Hope this helps.

Look on your Freestyle Daily for the hours by the pool. We were on the last Alaska trip in September and even though it was freezing and raining, they had the ice cream bar open. It's a little hard to find (tucked around a corner), but it was yummy!!!
