another International Pier question

After reading other posts, I see our Radiance of the Seas will dock at thehinternational Pier in Cozumel. As another has asked, what is there to do directly off @ pier? I want to go to the new Mega Store. Is it walkable? Has anyone gone there? If I need to take a taxi, how much would it cost and would I be able to find one easily to return me to the ship? I have gone to Cozumel a couple of times but docked at Carnival's one. Loved that "made for cruisers" town. How far is that pier from the International?

the carnival pier is adjacent to international pier..

at the pier there is bunch of shops and a couple of bars...

Glad to hear there are a few thing to do without going into town. Mainly want to have a drink and salsa and chips. Any restaurants there to fit the bill? Anyone have info on the Mega store?

I think there is a senor frogs 2 there so yea chips/salsa and drinks.

 

Never been to the mega mart so no help there..

I typically spend 20-25 dollars on cab fare and head over to chen rios or coconuts

 

realax there for a few hours away from the crowds before heading back

I love Mega too! They have the best coffee on Cozumel and their bakery is awesome. It's not too far from the International pier, but we took a cab there...it was about a 5 minute ride. Plenty of taxis waiting outside when you're done.

 

Across the street is a great restaurant called Jeannie's which is right on the water and has great breakfasts.

Glad to hear about the Mega from someone who has been there. That's exactly where I'll be headed. Thanks for the info.
