Blue Horizon Hotel

Hi, just booked the Blue Horizon Hotel for one night prior to departure on our Alaskan cruise, June 11, 2005. Anyone have any thoughts on this hotel? Thanks, any info would be appreciated.

on Robson and close to shopping and lots of places to eat. You are up the hill from Stanley Park and a few blocks from Denaman.All great people watching places.

Stayed at the Blue Horizon in December. Entire interior of the hotel had just been refurbished and renovated. Great central location on Robson Street with lots of restaurants and shopping right outside your doorstep. We had a very nice corner suite - huge room for a downtown hotel. It is not fancy, but spotless, surprisingly quiet, and the price and location are great.

Thanks for the info regarding the Blue Horizon. I was contemplating changing my reservation, since I couldn't find out much about this hotel. Since reading your reply, I will keep the reservation. We don't need anything fancy and don't want to spend a ton of money, since we will spend most of the day seeing Vancouver and not being in the hotel room. Looking forward to our trip in June.

We stayed there last May before our cruise -- ask for a room on one of the upper floors; we had an amazing view, and even spotted our ship as she sailed in port.

There used to be a little hole in the wall restaurant just down the street call the White tower pizza place.If I recall correctly it had great prices and the best ministorne I have ever had.Hope it is still there( not the white castle burger joint) :D
