Sovereignmark Posted January 16, 2011 #1 Share Posted January 16, 2011 We are cruising on splendor from Long Beach and we are booked on a 12.20pm flight from LAX to Miami. Is this enough time or is the disembarkation in Long Beach slow
MalleyCat Posted January 16, 2011 #2 Share Posted January 16, 2011 We had the same flight time last year and didn't have any problem. We used Super Shuttle and actually got into van 1/2 hour before our reservation.
PAPERBKWRITER Posted January 16, 2011 #3 Share Posted January 16, 2011 We use prime time shuttle and never had a problem either (3 times). Under normal circumstances you'll be fine.
Model A Posted January 16, 2011 #4 Share Posted January 16, 2011 Does the shuttl go from Longbeach port and do you have to book it or can you just get one thats sitting there?
SadieN Posted January 16, 2011 #5 Share Posted January 16, 2011 There are also taxis for about $55-$60.
veronicalengland Posted January 16, 2011 #6 Share Posted January 16, 2011 Can we catch the prime time or super shuttle from John Wayne airport? We are going on the splendor for the Feb 20th sailing and were looking for a low cost option to get to our cruise.

Cruisin' Chick Posted January 18, 2011 #9 Share Posted January 18, 2011 And I would verify in a phone call if using Prime Time Shuttle. Am dealing with them right now on a royally messed up booking, picking us up from our house and picking us after our cruise in San Pedro. The email confirmation was right but when scheduling the drivers, whoever does it for them switch them arrangements BOTH times. They don't call back when a message is left with customer service and it took two emails to get a written response (the second time I said I would proceed with further action unless I hear from them in a business day). What they offered for compensation was laughable. So it looks like I'll be sending a letter to the credit card company this week. At the port, the poor guy working for them was besieged with passengers who were waiting for vehicles that were the wrong type or simply not there (like the one for my family). Prime Time Shuttle works well, you'll just need to make a reservation on their website.
