Ft. Lauderdale Hotels on the Beach

I am looking for a post cruise hotel in ft lauderdale that is on a beach. Preferebly with transfers from cruise port to hotel and hotel to airport. Or not too many miles from each so the cab fair isn't too high.

We looked at the Courtyard Marriott - but we thought it was expensive :o

We booked the Westin Beach Resort for $92 plus tax using Hotwire for this coming Oct. They do not have a shuttle but it's not that far from the port, we have stayed there before and had a great time :)

Marriott Harbor Beach

Days Inn(one block to beach)

Sheraton

 

across the street from beach:

Bahia Cabana (gross)

Bahia Mar (low priced but ok)

Marriott Courtyard

Marriott Beach Place

Ritz Carlton

Westin

W

Atlantic

Marriott Beach Place is the most centrally located to dining and shopping (not much shopping at the beach worth any of your time though).
