sunlover41 Posted February 28, 2005 #1 Share Posted February 28, 2005 Hi, I just received my new Celebrity book for 2005-2006. I just recently returned from the Star Princess which I really enjoyed. A few questions for Millenium cruisers? 1) How are the food options? Is there food available at anytime of the day and especially late at night? 2) How is the entertainment as far as shows at night? 3) On the "at sea" days, is it hard to find a chair at the pool? Is there more then one pool? 4) Are there many slot machines at the casino? 5) What are the spa services like? Thanks, Greg- niksbuddy@hotmail.com
niborHS Posted February 28, 2005 #2 Share Posted February 28, 2005 Greg, you may want to check my post for comparisons of Celebrity vs. Princess both on this board and the Princess baord. Ijust got off the Millennium. If you are talking Carribean next year, their itinerary isn't the greatest. The food is not available 24 hours on the buffet like it is on Princess, although you can get room service. How you really need more food that you get there, I don't know. Spa is nice, the thallasotherapy pool and the persian garden relaxation area are very nice. There is one outdoor pool area, which is actually separated into 2 pools. As far as beach chairs go, you can get them, but people grab the ones right around the pool rather early, but not 7 am like I've seen on other lines. There are also alot of lounge chairs on deck 11, above the pool, that are completely in the sun, and are easier to get. When it comes to shows, if you take late seating, most of the shows are at 7:00, which defeats the purpose of late seating for me, time to relax and get ready before dinner. There are plenty of slots in the casino.
