Celebrity Constellation - Discount

I was on the Celebrity website, and by chance saw that they are offering approximately $200 per person in the cabin for a fireman/law enforcement discount. Even though we booked through a TA and final payment was made, no monies would be refunded but we was offered a upgrade. $400 is $400 - got the upgrade and basically paid for prepaid gratuities for Select Dining!

I just wanted to pass it along to everyone, even though their cruise is paid in full, if booked through a TA, don't hesitate to ask for a discount or upgrade of some sort should rates drop. Don't be shy! :)

Yes, I saw them advertising discounts for American and Canadian vets.:)

They offer reduced rates for military, fireman, police, seniors and resident discounts; but not for all sailings and not always for all room categories. You have to go to the website and pretend like you are doing a new booking; check off the box for any of the above discounts that may apply to you, and then you will see if there are currently and reduced rates for your sailing. If so, contact your travel agent (if you booked with them) or the cruise line directly if you did not use a travel agent.
