Booking post cruise hotel with cruise line

Does anyone know if you book post cruise hotel from Princess cruises if you will be able to check in early at the hotel as soon as you get off the ship. We are looking for any advantage for the price the cruise lines charge for a hotel room.

According to Princess's website...

 

If you have purchased a Princess ship-to-airport transfer, Cruise Plus Hotel Package or are participating on a cruisetour, you will be directed by uniformed Princess representatives to the transfer departure point.
