I think you all will probably tell me it doesn't really matter concerning which side of the ship we are on,just thought i would ask though.

I would however like to know what you think about Carib (sp) versus the Dolphin deck. We have a mini suite and are currently on the Dolphin deck. Any suggestions ?? I have heard on here that the Carib deck has balconies that extend out further but i am not sure if that applies to the Ruby.

Thank you:)

Caribe deck cabins are only balcony rooms, not mini-suites. Mini-suite balconies are about 7 feet deep and on Dolphin deck are totally uncovered. Caribe deck balconies are about 9 feet deep and are half covered/half uncovered. You would be giving up about nine feet of space in the room including a loveseat and a bathtub for two feet of balcony. I personally would stay with the mini.

Thank you so much for your reply. Yes, we are staying in our mini suite for sure. I did not make myself clear about that.

I just wondered if the minis had extended balconies.

Also, can anyone tell me if it matters at all which side of the ship you are on ? We have always been on the Port side and now i see we are on the Starboard.

Thank you
