Dinning Room seating question

Does anyone know if group of 10 will be seated at the same table? I can't remember if there are tables that big in the dinning room.

We all have the late seating selected and are suppose to be "grouped" together.

I also wanted to add that the ship's deck plans on the Carnival site will give you a rough idea about where the larger tables are and how many they seat.

It's still possible that your group will be split up if there are others already at those tables. If you are split up, your tables should be next to each other.

The worst thing we found when sitting at a table for ten was that everybody was using utensils from the person sitting next to them. It was very tight. :D

We were on the Liberty in Dec and had a long table for 10 in the silver olympian and a round table for 7 next to it. We were linked to gether when we booked.

Bookings being linked together does not guarantee that you will be seated together, but in most cases does happen, unless a very large group at which time they will make every effort to keep tables near each other.

If you are not seated together the first night, ask the maitre de. On the Conquest, several of us cruise critics folks decided we wanted to eat together(at least 12 of us) and they made a long table for us with a booth on one side and chairs on the the other side and the ends. It was a blast. We switched seats every night to chat. Good luck.

We had a group of 10 once, and instead of putting us all at one table, they put us at two booths back to back. I thought that was a little unusual, and it didn't work out that great, so hopefully that won't happen to you.

Most likely you will be seated at the same table. When I was on the Valor there was a big round table next to our table that fit 10 pax. Also, if worst comes to worst they could add 2 chairs to a table set for 8. We were seated at a table set for 8 and it seemed that they could add 2 chairs quite easily. But we were only a group of 5 so the table probably appeared a bit bigger than it actually is. Best of luck. Enjoy your cruise.

we did a family cruise with 10 ppl and were seated together...at the captains table :D captain had early dining and we had late dining, so we never actually sat with him, but it was neat...

Hmmm. We have a group of 12. Do you think they would do 2 tables or 6? We're all linked, so hopefully it won't be an issue. I just don't want a table of 10 then 2 people having to sit with people they don't know.
