Recommendations for travel with four year old

Hi. My husband, four year old daughter and I will be in Belize with the Carnival Valor at the end of May and I'm trying to choose a shore excursion that my daughter would enjoy. Can anyone recommend a good one? She's a beach girl. I was thinking of doing the Goff's Caye snorkeling excursion since it said you can snorkel from the boat or from the beach. That way my daughter and husband can relax on the beach while I snorkel. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

I've never been to Goff's Caye, but that seems like a good idea.

I'm taking my 4 year old son to Caye Caulker next month. There is not a great deal for children to do there and it's not the best beach in the world, but there is enough area for him to burn off energy and no traffic to worry about.

Altun Ha wouldn't be a bad trip for a 4 year old (especially if combined with a river trip) or the Belize Zoo.

I would avoid the longer Mayan ruins trips, snorkeling from boat trips, and cave tubing with a 4 year old.
