Mytime Dining on the Allure

Recommended Posts

I've heard from people that have said there have been long lines in regards to Mytime Dining, even for those with reservations. I was wondering those of you have sailed and have gone to the dining room during prime time between 7:00 and 8:00 what you experience was.

We had reservations for MTD but we never showed up at the time we had reserved. So when we showed up, there usually was a line lasting about no more than 5 minutes - the hostess would then find us a table. If it wasn't ready, she would make us wait in the little lounge area at the entrance - the most we waited one night was 10 minutes (but we were 8 people). The line is to get to the hostess, if you have reservations, once you get to the hostess, they usually take you to your table right away.

The lines were longer just after a show, as everyone would then go to the dining room. But we didn't mind - having the flexibility to go eat when you want to beats waiting 10 minutes any day. :)

We were on the 12/5 sailing and did MTD. There were 10 in our group. We never had to wait for a table. Showed up around 7:30 every night. Great service. Food was always served hot and cooked to order. Edited to add, we never made a reservation. Second night on, we had the same table and wait staff. Overall a great experience. Will probably stick with MTD from now on. Hope this helped.
