beach with big waves

You won't likely find big waves breaking on shore in Grand Cayman unless the weather is so bad that cruise ships cannot visit.

The beaches in East End have a barrier reef offshore which makes the waves break well offshore.

Occasionally when there is a nor'wester then waves will be breaking all along Seven Mile Beach. But those days are the days when ships must divert to the alternate tendering site or bypass the island entirely.
