Will be stopping in St. Croix on Royal Caribbean's AOS in March, can't come soon enough, I live in New England & really getting tired of all the snow! Wondering if anyone knows of any resorts that offer a day pass, specifically looking for a resort that has spa services on the beach. It is our last stop on the trip & thought a ocean-side massage would be a good way to end it :)

I inquired about a day pass with Tamarind Reef Hotel. They responded, "Thank you for your inquiry. We invite you to visit our Hotel while on St. Croix. The use of our beach is free to the public, we do offer kayaking which is a $35.00 rental fee, and snorkeling gear which is a $10.00 rental fee. For additional information about our facility, you can contact us at 1-800-619-0014" It looked nice on their website. We will be there in March as well.

Tamarind is East - about 30 min east of the cruise port.

But ALL beach in the US VIRGIN ISLANDS are Free to the public.

Some hotels will charge a $5 fee for you to use their chairs and facilities.

I don't know that Tamarind has a Spa at all....call and check.

There are a few hotels who have great spas -

The Hideaway spa at the Buccaneer, The Surfside Spa at divi - and they have a massage room with double doors that open to the ocean, and the Spa at the Renaissance Carambola.

There are also a couple of massage therapists who "come to you" on the island, but I think you have to have a hotel room - or SOMEWHERE private for them to meet up with you.
