Luggage tags at port

Leaving tomorrow on the Oasis! Decided last minute to upgrade to Jr Suite so my old luggage tags are not good. Does the porter provide the luggage tags at the port? or at check in? just want to make sure I do it correctly since my one and only cruise we took, somehow DH and I ended up not checking in our luggage and lugging it around until we were able to get into room! Take a black magic marker, cross out the deck and number of your old cabin, and write in your new cabin number!
