New to Princess. We'll be on the Coral Princess in September, going through the Panama Canal. Which pier does Princess use in San Francisco?

According to the Port of San Francisco"s 2011 posted schedule, its supossed to berth at pier 27

I believe it depends on whether or not other ships are in port as to what pier you will be assigned.

The Sea Princess last Sept sailed from pier 35 but returned to pier 27. Luckily the Ace Parking Lot was close to to middle of these two piers.

Your welcome. Looks like we will be missing you in San Francisco by less than a week. The Panama Canal is great cruise and we really like the Island/Coral.

To bad we will miss you there. We loved the Island too. Did the partial transit on the Island in April & loved it so much that's why we are doing the 15 day full transit on her now.

We have a roll call (combined with the Sept 24 from Vancouver) for the Sept 26 Coral S.F. to Ft. Lauderdale Panama Canal cruise. If this is your cruise, come on over and join the roll call if you haven't already.

In August / Sep 2010, the Port listed Pier 27 for the Princess Cruises. But the Pier that got actually used was Pier 35. The Princess Personalizer gave the correct Pier. Any way, it is just a 5 min walk between Piers 35 and 27.

 

2011 -- added factor will be the preparations for Sailing Competition. So expect last minute changes.
