StanandJim Posted January 23, 2011 #1 Share Posted January 23, 2011 Consider this: Passengers sailing on the Maiden Voyage of the Marina, yesterday, learned that in honor of the festive occasion, Oceania would not be charging for house wines and spirits during the voyage. What a lovely gesture. How much nicer is it because it was unpublicized? Speaking as a passenger who canceled the Maiden Voyage of HALS' Eurodam because of the crude, grasping, attitude which corrupted every aspect of that cruise (ask me, someday, how HAL tried to wring $4000.00 out of us, to see the ship christened) , I have one thing to say... We had high hopes just after Carnival bought HAL because their money built some beautiful ships and at first they weren't interfering with the onboard experience at all. And my HAL sailings were before Carnival got their grubby hands on the line.
