Blackbeard Cay Beach Break

DH and I are going on the Monarch this March. We were thinking about doing Blackbeard Cay Beach Break.

Anyone do this excursion? Is it worth it? Just looking to do a little R & R.

We were there on Majesty in OCT. We did the Blackbeards tour thru the ship. They had one which was just the beach and one that was a combination of beach and swim with stingrays. We really enjoyed the beach. Plenty of chairs and beach was nice. One of the highlites was when my wife spotted a starfish which was about 13-14 inches across.

They had restroom facilities and a small grill plus shopping area. They had a really nice bar also. You can look them up by gogoling them. Price in advance was 42 dollars which was for stingrays also. I think for the beach was just 19dol. on ship. The excursion boat is just a short walk from cruise ship just outside the gates.
