Anyone taken canned soft drinks on the Voyager Lately?

We are leaving soon and I would love to take a few diet Sprites (canned) with me on the Voyager out of Galveston. I know they have gotten so stricked:(!

 

Just wondering if anyone has had any luck. I will carry them onboard with me in my carry on. If they take them... no big deal!

I don't know about Voyager, but I brought bottles of soda and water on board Allure of the seas with no problems.

i just took 12 cans of diet coke on the voyager jan 2 in my carryon, security looked at them and when they saw they were soda they said no problem.

I really don't understand why the ships carry Coke, Diet Coke, and Sprite in cans, but don't also carry Diet Sprite. It is a peeve of mine!!

I was on the Voyager on the January 16th sailing. They limited us to 6 cans of soda per room. Had a case we were splitting among 3 rooms. They permitted us to board with 18 cans and held 6 cans until the last day, and then brought them to the room.

Anyone RECENTLY taken canned soda in their carry on? We usually cruise out of Port Canaveral and haven't had problems at all. Haven't done Ft. Lauderdale in many years so I am wondering if I will have trouble. Thanks..... Oh, how is parking at the pier there??

I was in the lounge for the meet and mingle. They had a few drawings for some door prizes, and then just told eveyone to mingle and have a good time. Didn't have much interaction with the CD. He seemed o.k., as CD's go.
