Rental Car shuttles post cruise in Ft. Lauderdale

We are renting a car after our cruise from the Ft. Lauderdale airport location of Hertz. I have called them and have gotten a couple of different answers. From what I understand they used to have a rental location near the pier, but that they no longer have this. Does anyone know if they still have shuttles from the pier to the airport location.

We just got back and also rented from Hertz...the shuttle was right there when we got off the ship and like you, I thought we were going to the airport location but instead, we were brought to a new and closer location...seems that we were supposed to go to the airport location because there was a big mix up when they dropped us off...long story short, we got our car there and were off with a very slight delay...just ask where they will will bring you
