theverro Posted February 1, 2011 #1 Share Posted February 1, 2011 Hello!! The parks website now lists the following as being included in the base admission to the park: "Sea Lion Show, Dolphin Presentation, Manatee Exhibition & Archaeological Tour." Has anyone experience the above and are able to comment? Also, I seem to remember reading that the base admisson no longer access to the pool? Could someone kindly let me know if that is true or false. Also, how much to rent the snorkel equipement? And finally, looking to possibly do the Manatee swim, and feedback would be great. Merci!!! block Posted February 1, 2011 #2 Share Posted February 1, 2011 we were there a few years back. Before the hurricane that almost wiped it out. It was a wonderful day. He did the sea lion swim and it was a great time the beach was very nice.
mimxmom Posted February 1, 2011 #3 Share Posted February 1, 2011 We did the dolphin encounter last April. It also included a visit with the manatee. All we did with the manatee is enter the water wehre the manatee was and stand on a mteal ledge. They gave us lettuce if we wanted to feed it and we could touch it as it passed by us. I didn't really care for it...it was quite slimy. We were only in the water for less than 10 minutes with the manatee. Not a big deal, IMO.
