Pride crossing questions

Martita, I imagine you can answer these questions.

How many formal nights will there be on this 12 day cruise? Also, what time do you think we will disembark from the ship in Lisbon? I'm wondering what time I should have our driver there to pick us up. Thanks

Brenda

Brenda~~~Yes, I can answer your questions.

Formals nights: March 16th (Welcome reception)

March 19th ( "A Royal Affair" Gala)

March 20th (just a formal)

March 25th (Farewell reception)

We'll disembark between 9 and 9:30 am. Usually, those needing to catch the 11:30 flight back to the States will disembark first. We are having our driver pick us up at 9:30 in front of the Pier Terminal.

(we won't acknowledge the VERY RUDE poster!!)

Martha, you must have an inside source to get this info??? I was hoping the cruise documents would tell me how many elegant formal nights on the Legend cruise, but they do not. Can I assume three? Are you able to find out for me?

Matt~~~I just "figurered it out", that's all......On the Legend, I'll guess:

Formal evenings:

March 28th

April 1st

April 5th

I left out the Formal Club event, as it's only for Seabourn Club Members (former Cruisers)

Happy Crossing~~~~

Hi Martha, the club event is usually held on a formal night, as I recall.

Denyse

P.S. Matt, the club cocktail party is primarily about selling more cruises (and recognizing those who've sailed more cruises!!!), and I've never seen them turn away a "newbie". :-)

Denyse, do you remember when the Club Party was held in the Constellation Lounge or the Horizon? Now, with so many sailings being SOLD OUT they host the Club affair in the large Magellan Theater..........too many Club members for the smaller rooms.

The Club Party is hosted by the Captain and the on board Sales Specialist. And during the party they give a special "Limoges Box" (or facsimile) to the guest with the most days on Seabourn. Herman would always win the box as he'd have 600 or more days.......we'd all be sitting at the back just "applauding to beat the band!" I have a most wonderful picture of Herman and Captain T.T. on our last March Crossing when T.T. presented him his award. We will miss sweet Herman terribly come March 15th.

A bit of trivia~~~~on the Pride Northern Crossing last Sept. we had a "full boat!" Out of 208 guests, there were on ONLY 14 newcomers to Seabourn.

Happy Sailing's

Matt~~~Your idea is brilliant~~~~have a party to honor the "newcomers!"

You may want to start a "thread" as to a time and place for all you CCer's to meet since there are so many of you on the Legend Crossing. A good time is right before the Muster Drill, up in the Sky Bar. The Lifeboat drill is usually about an hour before departure sailing.

I just discovered that Pride will be making a stop in Bermuda (St Georges) on March 18th on the way to Europe.

You'll be there from 9am until 3pm. They will offer tours or you can just stroll around the charming town. What a bonus!

Oh, and they say it won't affect your arrival in Funchal at all.

bgood~~~Yippppeeee! Last Crossing we had an unscheduled stop in St. George. Many of us had a charming "stroll" while a few others enjoyed a "Taxi tour."

This is truly a special place to visit! Smaller and more unique than Hamilton.

Many thanks, bgood!
