Wind Surf Travelers 5/1/05?

We just booked our first Wind Star cruise departing Malaga, Spain on May 1st and would appreciate any tips on enjoying the Wind Surf from past guests.

 

Any comments or inputs on interesting excursions (Must see or must aviod) in Ibiza, Morocco, Barcelona or Marseille would also be very welcome.

This Will Be The Second Leg Of A Back To Back Cruise Starting In Lisbon For Us. We Have Cruised With Windstar Before And Have Been Very Pleased. Are You Planning Any Shore Excursions With The Ship Or On Private Tour?

We are planning to visit Granada and Alhambra at the start of the trip and are trying to set up a private tour and transportation. We are also planning for 2 or 3 days in France at the end of the trip.

 

Let me know if you're interested, I'd be happy share any details we come across. Please feel free to offer any suggestions on shore excursions for the 2nd leg of your trip!

We plan to head directly to Cannes and stay a night there and then head to Monte Carlo....

Hello! My husband and I are booked on the May 1 cruise on Windsurf as well. We are really looking forward to it. Have you had any luck on suggestions on the excursions?? I'd love to know what you have heard.

 

I've been on one cruise before, hubby has never been on a cruise.

We'd be happy to match notes on excursion plans... Right now we're trying to put together plans for a trip to Alharmbra on Sunday May 1st. We've heard from a private tour group, but they need at least 6 people.

 

I wanted to know if the Wind Surf was in port that day and had an excursion planned to Alhambra.

 

For the most part, we really prefer to avoid the cruise line excursions and make our own way.
