bride2b24 Posted February 5, 2011 #1 Share Posted February 5, 2011 Originally I had booked a DJ for my upcoming wedding. Now I'm having second thoughts. I am having my ceremony and 1 hr. reception before we leave port, but am also having a reception when we return where we will be doing the first dance, bouquet toss, ect. I need opinions, is the DJ or piano player more appropriate if we are not going to be doing any of the traditional dances on the ship?
RonneyKay Posted February 5, 2011 #2 Share Posted February 5, 2011 It sounds like your ceremony is going to be short and sweet, then the party happens later. It just doesn't seem right (or practical) to a do a full blown affair:) Unless you know a DJ who will do it for free, then I think a Piano is just fine! Good Luck! He was wonderful and played a variety of music. They danced and Roger even encouraged our son in law to sing to our daughter while he accompanied him on the piano. Priceless. You won't go wrong with a pianist!
LK0806 Posted February 7, 2011 #4 Share Posted February 7, 2011 The piano sounds really great if your doing the dances and everything back home!
