mom x4,grandma x4 Posted February 5, 2011 #2 Share Posted February 5, 2011 We use the Radisson. Its a 5 minute drive from the port. Its older but clean with a nice pool and wading pool for kids. Usually they have a live singer near the pool at night near the outdoor bar which really sets the mood for a tropical cruise. They have their own restaurant and right next door is an italian restaurant with great pizza and spaghetti, McDonalds right across the street and a greek restaurant on the other side. They also have a shuttle to take you to the port if you sign up for it, even if you drive there you can leave your car there for free while your cruising so no need to pay the high cost of the parking area. Country Inn & Sutes is just up the street from the Radisson and is newer and is also a great place to stay. Both have web sites, just google their name and then click on Cocoa beach area. duck addict Posted February 5, 2011 #4 Share Posted February 5, 2011 If you are searching on the internet, use Cocoa Beach, or Cape Canaveral instead of Port Canaveral.
suezyq50 Posted February 6, 2011 #5 Share Posted February 6, 2011 We like Residence Inn or Counrty Inn and Suites. Both offer shuttles, have free parking, good breakfast buffet included in their price.

Love staying there pre-cruise!:D Already have our room booked for this year staying 2 nights before our cruise this time because it's such an awesome place to hang out before you set sail!
