Aloha from the Island Princess,

 

We are currently on our way back to the mainland from the Feb. 18th sailing to Hawaii. What a great trip this has been. The weather has been fantastic with only one rough sea day on Day 2. All ports were perfect weather and tendering was no problem. The Island Princess is truly a wonderful ship with the greatest staff. Yes, they are very aware of Cruise Critic Board members and care about their service to passengers. Richard Joseph, the CD, has a terrific staff of assistants and all are very interactive with guests and programs. Princess has shown us in many ways that the passenger is valued. Our waiter at first seating is Vasco from Portugal. This gentleman is a credit to Princess ships, as he knows fine service to his tables. We have had so much fun with him, as well as unmatched service from the many cruises we have been on. The assistance everyone has given to my disabled husband shows staff that have been well trained in caring for guests. Yes, we will sail with Princess again and tell Cruise Critic people that this caliber of 15 days of fun. service, entertainment, food and choices of activities is to be recognized.
