Will Carnival do a name change within ...

We are to sail within 7 days now and something has possibly come up that someone in our room will be unable to make it and didn't have insurance (although it isn't illness anyway) so has anyone known of Carnival letting a name be changed for who would be in the room instead of it being a total bust considering it is already paid for to being with and the room wouldn't be being canceled completely anyway?

if not booked ES they charge $50 to change the name to somebody else.

 

If booked ES you are SOL.

As stated, if you booked other than Early Saver you should be able to make a name change.

 

However if you booked Early Saver there are no Name Changes (substituing another Passenger) and they're very strict on this - you CAN always call to plead your case. It's not a total bust, as the person cancelling loses $50 for ES Cancellation Penalty and the remainder of the deposit is held for cruisefare on a future cruise w/in two years (or whoever's name the booking is in cal file Paperwork requesting the credit in their name).
