Mi Casita

We are staying at the Intercontinental in Isla Verde. I have heard good and bad reviews about the restaurant across the street called Mi Casita. We are looking for a reasonably priced restaurant with good Puerto Rican food. Is Mi Casita a good choice?

38 days till we go....

Thanks,

We ate there last December while staying at Embassy Suites pre-cruise. It was recommended by hotel personnel. We were not disappointed. It was very good.

Friend and I just returned from a week in San Juan - but found so many fabulous restaurants in Old San Juan - by asking the locals - that we didn't get a chance to dine at Mi Casita this trip......

In Old San Juan, locals literally lead us by the hand to the following restaurants:

Manolin and FeFo (or FoFe). Really good, smaller restaurants. Reasonably priced for the area.

Nice Al fresco restaurant: Toro Salao - great Tapas - and even better place to sit, people watch and drink a pitcher of Sangria!
