Camp Carnival sign up - for non-custodial kids

My 14 year old neice has joined us cruise plans (3 weeks!). We'll have notarized notes from both parents.

 

I went to pre-register her for Circle C, but I am unable to do so unless I note that I'm the parent or legal guardian.

 

I'm looking for someone who'se been able to sign up a niece, nephew, grandchild, friend of child to Camp carnival..

 

Did You sign the paperwork (since parent is giving you permission to take them)?

 

Did you have the parents sign the paperwork? If so, did you NOT preregister?

 

or did you preregister, then have the paperwork signed by the parents?

 

did you fake it and hope they didn't check?

 

Or did you skip camp carnival for this reason?

I don't see this being a problem at all. Just print the paperwork (blank) and show up to the orientation with the notarized letters. The counselors will be there to help you with any questions. They will also have extra forms in case people didn't bring them along.

We take our niece each time....and I just sign the letter...becasue how I look at it...I am the guardian for the trip. I also carry letters notarized for her that give me the right to make medical decisions not just the basic travel stuff....just in case....
