Booking a Cruise..

How far out can you book a cruise? Looking to book a cruise in Galveston on the Magic Oct. 2012

I think there is a long outset to book. I saw one person has a cruise booked for Dec 2012, so you should be good. Just watch the prices in case they go down and let your travel agent know.

We book as soon as we know where & when we want to go (as long as it's available, LOL). Sometimes we book pretty early, and sometimes not. We are admitted balcony snobs & like to choose our cabins, and you can always get a price adjustment if the price goes down. If you book Early Saver, that applies all the way up until just before your cruise; otherwise you can get the price drops up until final payment date.

I've been to Carnival's web page but it's not showing a sailing yet for Oct 2012 on the Magic. Do you know when it will be avalible to book I was told 14 montha out but not sure if that's correct.
