Hair, Makeup and Hotel in Long Beach LA

I have recently booked my wedding for 15 April 2012 on the Carnival Spledor. As we will be flying to LA on the 14th we need a nice hotel for the night near the port. Does anyone have any recommendations?

 

Also, I would really appreciate some suggestions for where to get my hair and makeup done?

I've already mentioned Karen Lee, I will let you know how it goes when I return next weekend from my trial.

Hotel wise, weare staying at the Long Beach Hilton, but we also have some rooms reserved at the Holiday Inn both look nice in the pictures and include a shuttle to the terminal.
